Lucky!

We are sad to report that our dog Rock will have a new home because on the evening of 8-23-08 Rock bit Hannah in the face and as you can see Hannah is very lucky to have her eye! (Scroll Down to See Picture)Hannah was bitten on the corner of her mouth and under her right eye. I was in Boise with my dad when this happened and Teresa was a tropper tending to Hannah and taking her to the hospital. We are lucky to live 10 blocks from the hospital and it's amazing the quick service you get when you arrive at the ER room with a toddler. Hannah's cheek is a little swollen and the doctors have told us to use lib balm with SPF 15 on the cut to prevent scaring for the next three months. I caught an early flight home and was able to arrive back in Vancouver before Hannah was awake. We all love Rock but we need to make a change that's good for Hannah and our family. The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior and Teresa and I can't let this happen to Hannah again. We love Rock and adopted him 6 years and we'll make sure we find a no kill shelter that will love him and take him in to their family of dogs. There's a lot more to say but I want to end with this-Hannah is okay and she is not mad at Rock.
